October 2018- January 2019

For this project, I went through three types of auditions: singing, dancing, and acting. I was cast as part of the ensemble-- or in this case the apes, and we were required to learn dances for "Son of Man" and "Trashing The Camp" as well as act like apes in the background of some scenes and sing. Rehearsals were every day after school for two hours for two months in order for us to "become" the characters. While time-consuming, I made friends with other cast members and enjoyed the experience of trying something out of my comfort and following my brother's footsteps in the theater department. The skills I used include teamwork, determination, presentational speaking, acting, singing, dancing, positivity, and flexibility.
